p>The Alpha K1N carabiner from Grivel is designed for connecting and setting anchors in mountaineering and rock climbing. Its D-shape directs the load along the major axis, promoting efficient load distribution in a compact design. The forged aluminum body combines lightness and strength, while the Screw-Lock closure system requires the ring to be fully screwed shut by hand before use. This mechanism minimizes the risk of accidental opening during rope handling.
