Carabiners Vlad

The Grivel Vlad is an aluminium carabiner with an integrated anchor plate, designed for climbing and mountaineering. Its design combines a connector and an anchoring area in a single component, helping to reduce the number of pieces to handle when setting up equipment. The Twin-Gate system uses two opposing gates, designed to secure the opening without relying on a conventional locking sleeve. This construction requires a deliberate action to open the carabiner, while still allowing quick handling.

Weighing 90 g, the Vlad remains well suited to uses where kit needs to stay compact and easy to carry. Its 30 kN strength on the closed major axis and 12 kN strength on the minor axis meet the usual demands of vertical activities, in line with the stated certifications.
