Foot care Orthèse Corrective Hallux Valgus Sport

When the deviation of the big toe becomes troublesome during exercise, the orthèse corrective Epitact Hallux Valgus Sport provides progressive traction to realign the joint while remaining compatible with sporting activities. Its system, combining a silicone cap and an adjustable strap, acts directly on the axis of the big toe without blocking foot movement.

Fitting involves positioning the cap on the toe, then adjusting the tension of the strap to obtain an adapted straightening. Its composition combining silicone and stretch textile ensures both support and comfort in contact with the skin. Designed for active use, it should be used on healthy skin and on a toe retaining lateral mobility.

Epitact Hallux Valgus Sport specifications:

Right/left: can be worn equally on the right and left foot
Package contents: 1 orthosis + 1 wash net + 1 instructions for use
Composition: 51 % silicone, 49 % polyamide/elastane fabric
Use recommendations:
- Wash the brace before 1st use
1. Slip the band onto the foot
2. Place the cap over the big toe and align the target with the bump
3. If the toe is still deviated, gradually pull the band until the toe is straightened
Contraindications:
- Do not use on a skin lesion
- Do not use if the big toe is no longer laterally mobile
- Cases of people with diabetes, arteritis, polyneuritis, neuropathy of the lower limbs or varicose ulcers: ask your doctor or podiatrist for advice, then monitor your foot during use
Care: machine washable at 30°C or hand washable (without rubbing) with soap and water. Allow to dry naturally. Discard and replace if gel cracks, fabric or seams deteriorate
