Product description — Sp-5 Prime Black
The Casco Sp-5 Prime ski helmet features in-mould construction, giving it a good strength-to-weight ratio at just 490 g. Its standout feature is the MagnetLink FX system, which lets you attach the Casco FX-80 goggles magnetically, doing away with the usual elastic fixings.
The Disc-Fit Vario internal adjustment is operated with a dial at the back of the head. The CascoFit system, based on an internal net, is designed to spread pressure across the skull rather than relying on rigid foam, which improves comfort over long days on the hill. The Dual Air Vents ventilation is adjustable, which is useful for adapting airflow to the temperature and the intensity of the effort. The ear pads feature a Teflon membrane: they let ambient sound through while reducing wind noise.
Is this helmet compatible with all ski goggles?
The MagnetLink system is designed specifically for Casco FX-80 goggles. With other goggles, the magnetic attachment does not work, but the standard clip can still be used.
