The La Sportiva Aequilibrium Hike GTX boot emerges as an innovative hiking boot, blending durability and comfort for long treks. Snugly wrapping the foot, the Gore-Tex Extended Comfort lining offers impeccable waterproofness while allowing adequate ventilation for extended use in various weather conditions. Its upper is crafted from abrasion-resistant fabric with a DWR finish to bolster enduring protection against external elements. The bottom of the boot consists of a 5 mm La Sportiva Mountain Hiking insole that provides stable and adaptive arch support. The expanded polyurethane midsole delivers responsive cushioning, reinforced by a TPU film for increased wear resistance without weighing down the boot. The outsole combines the sturdiness of Vibram rubber with an internal expanded PU core for reliable traction and dampened impact. The lugs, incorporating the Impact Brake System, enhance stability on steep terrain and ensure effective traction control on climbs. Flexibility is provided by the 3D Flex System Evo at the ankle, which allows natural movement and significant stability when traversing uneven ground.
