Ice axe Viper Ice Tool Hammer

The Black Diamond Viper Ice Tool Hammer is designed to deliver versatility and reliability on the most demanding alpine terrain. Its hydroformed aluminium shaft, both rigid and lightweight, ensures excellent strength while keeping weight low to make progress easier. The curved geometry improves clearance and placement, while the included I.C.E. pick with hammer provides efficient performance on ice and technical gullies. This model is part of the I.C.E. system, allowing you to replace or adapt the pick according to the terrain (ice, mixed, dry-tooling). The adjustable FlickLock upper pommel and retractable lower pommel offer optimal adaptability, whether for placements or climbing in walking-stick position. The over moulded grip, secure and comfortable, guarantees a safe hold even with thick gloves. Versatile, robust and ergonomic, this ice tool is built for serious winter alpinism and ice climbing.
