Description
The Big Agnes Rapide SL Insulated sleeping mat is a 3-season inflatable mat ideal for camping, trekking and bikepacking, designed with stability and insulation in mind for when temperatures drop.
Purpose: This mat provides insulation from the ground thanks to its heat-reflective films and an R-Value of 4.8, helping to minimise heat loss when bivvying from spring through to autumn.
When to use: Its 3-season rating and thickness of 9 to 11 cm make it suitable for more comfortable nights on uneven terrain, while maintaining a compact packed size for easy transport.
How it works: The offset I-Beam construction enhances support, while the larger outer chambers (up to 11 cm) help keep you centred on the mat. The double ripstop nylon fabric and aerospace-grade TPU lamination are paired with a high-volume dual valve for effortless inflation and rapid deflation. An anti-microbial treatment completes the design, and a pump sack, storage bag and repair kit are included.
