Description

The Black Diamond Dawn Patrol Hybrid pants are designed for long, strenuous ski-touring trips in the mountains. Their hybrid construction combines a waterproof and breathable 3-layer BD.dry membrane on exposed areas with a four-way stretch softshell on areas that require freedom of movement. Zippered vents on the thighs allow heat to escape during ascents. The integrated stretch snow gaiter protects against snow ingress when traversing powder snow.

Why are there two different materials on these pants?

The 3-layer BD.dry fabric protects against snow and wind on the most exposed areas, while the stretch softshell provides freedom of movement around the joints.

Do the leg cuffs fit all types of boots?

The snap fasteners are adjustable and fit a variety of ski boot sizes.

Are these pants suitable for long backcountry trips?

Quick-access pockets for electronics and multiple storage compartments make it easy to manage gear on long outings.
