Product description — Pierra Ment Xcs Black
The Millet Pierra Ment XCS is a pair of ski touring trousers designed for active outings, when freedom of movement and heat management become important during exertion. The X.C.S. 200™ fabric combines polyamide and elastane for stretch, while the Dual Tech™ construction distributes targeted thermal zones. Behind the knees, thinner panels promote moisture transfer and move with repeated flexion on the ascent. The PFC-free water-repellent finish also helps limit the fabric’s absorption when exposed to moisture.
When intensity increases, the large zipped side vents with mesh allow you to adjust airflow without taking the trousers off. Pre-shaped knees and a seamless crotch gusset support mobility during uphill progress. At the lower legs, reinforcements protect the areas most exposed to abrasion, while zipped openings with gussets make it easier to fit around ski boots. Direct access to the rear buckles also means you do not need to pull the trousers fully up when switching between ascent and descent modes. Finally, three zipped pockets keep small accessories secure.
Can waist support be improved with a belt?
Yes. The semi-elasticated waist is complemented by belt loops, allowing you to add a belt if extra hold is needed.
Do the trousers include a useful feature for low-light conditions?
A retro-reflective Pierra Ment marking is integrated into the trousers to reflect light when illuminated.
