Mitten Women's Mercury Mitts

The Mercury Mitts Women's Ski Mittens is a model designed by Black Diamond for versatile ski touring. The mittens feature long, adjustable sleeves and goat leather palms with reinforced inserts. To keep you completely dry, they have an outer surface with an environmentally friendly Empel DWR water repellent treatment and a 100% waterproof BD.dry insert.

In terms of keeping out the cold, the Black Diamond Women's Mercury Mitts have removable under gloves that incorporates a PrimaLoft Gold Cross Core insulation on the top of the hand and a PrimaLoft Gold insulation on the palm. PrimaLoft Gold Cross Core insulation exploits the thermal properties of silica aerogel. The latter is composed of more than 95% air. It increases the insulating capacity of the PrimaLoft fibres tenfold without affecting its weight.
