Product description — Le Mono

The Faction Le Mono monoski keeps the traditional shape of the genre: a single ski, both feet side by side, and a line you carve with your thighs. Take it out on groomed pistes in the morning and into the powder in the afternoon, driven by a poplar wood core that bounces back underfoot.

What is the Faction Le Mono monoski built for?

With a 126 mm waist, it floats in deep snow without you having to shift your weight too far back. The rocker in the tip swallows turn entry and rises up in the powder, while the flat tail keeps contact with the snow right to the end of the turn. The elliptical sidecut radius points it towards long, sweeping turns: you set the edge, let it run, and the ski holds its line. On hard snow, the flat camber gives a firm grip and stable handling.

This monoski is aimed at advanced to expert skiers, strong and committed, who already know how to ride a monoski or are willing to learn to ski all over again. It demands precise handling and clean edge pressure, and rewards those who know where they're going.

Does the Mono hold up on groomed pistes?

Yes. The flat camber maintains ski-to-snow contact and the flat tail extends the grip out of the turn. You stay on the edge, as long as you ski with commitment.

Can you ride the Mono switch or in the snowpark?

No. The shape is directional and doesn't allow for it.

Can the Mono take knocks and rocks?

Yes. The sidewalls are reinforced and the micro-cap limits chipping on the edges: this ski is built to last.
