- Users who prefer a lightweight mid-cut boot for glacier crossings and mixed terrain
- Spring to autumn outings, with possible use in cold, dry conditions
- For harsh winter conditions in deep snow and very low temperatures, a thermally insulated mountaineering boot will be more suitable

In the mountains
In rain or wet snow, the Gore-Tex membrane keeps your feet dry while allowing perspiration to escape during long ascents. The mid-cut upper provides reassuring ankle support on descents. The rigid rear welt accepts hybrid crampons, a crucial feature on glaciers or hard snow. The Vibram SpringLug sole combined with the Impact Brake System enhances grip on wet rock and firm snow. On hard ice and sustained slopes, a boot designed for step-in crampons with a stiffer upper will remain the more appropriate choice.
Do these boots really keep your feet dry?
The Gore-Tex membrane provides reliable waterproof protection in rain, snow and shallow stream crossings, while allowing perspiration to escape.
Are these boots suitable for winter?
Designed for three-season use, they can still be worn in cold, dry conditions on trails or ridges. For frequent winter outings in deep snow, a thermally insulated boot will offer greater comfort.
