Product description — Nepal Cube Woman Gore-Tex White

The La Sportiva Nepal Cube Woman GTX mountaineering boot is designed for snow and ice routes, ridges and mixed terrain in the mountains. This women’s model is aimed at experienced mountaineers looking for a stiff upper and a crampon-compatible sole.

Who is it for, and what is it for?

  • Mountaineers tackling snow, ice and mixed alpine routes that require a rigid, crampon-compatible boot.
  • Users carrying a load over several days who need enhanced ankle support on ridges and steep slopes.
  • Spring to autumn outings, with the option of use in cold, dry conditions.
  • For easy hiking on marked trails or everyday walking, a more flexible and lighter boot will offer greater comfort.

Specifications of the La Sportiva Nepal Cube Woman Gtx:

  • Hydro Perwanger waterproof leather upper
  • High-cut upper with secure ankle hold
  • Gore-Tex Insulated Comfort lining, waterproof and breathable
  • 3-season use, suitable for cold and dry conditions
  • Compatible with step-in crampons (front and rear welts)
  • Removable EZ Out tongue for precise fit adjustment
  • Vibram sole with Impact Brake System, resoleable
  • Standard fit

In the mountains

On ridges or glaciers, the stiff, crampon-compatible sole delivers solid grip as soon as you place your foot. It features front and rear welts for step-in crampon compatibility. The Gore-Tex membrane keeps your feet dry in wet snow, shallow stream crossings or rain, while allowing perspiration to escape. The high leather upper locks the ankle in place and protects against impacts from loose rock. The 3D Flex system reduces some of this rigidity by making approach walking easier before the technical section begins.

Can these boots be used in winter, on snow?

This model is designed for three-season use, but it can still be worn in cold, dry conditions thanks to its Gore-Tex membrane. For frequent winter outings in deep snow, a thermally insulated boot will be more suitable.

Are these boots compatible with step-in crampons?

Yes, the rigid sole has front and rear welts that allow step-in crampons to be attached.
