Product description — Speedmax 80 Skate Plus 115 Stiff

The Fischer Speedmax 80 Skate Plus 115 Stiff stands out as a go-to choice for skiers looking to improve and develop strong skating sensations. Packed with technologies derived from World Cup racing, it combines lightness, stability and dynamism for efficient outings in a wide range of snow conditions. Its construction makes it particularly accessible while retaining the performance character of higher-level models.

What is the Fischer Speedmax 80 Skate Plus 115 Stiff cross-country ski designed for?

Built to support sporty skiers as their technique develops, the Speedmax 80 Skate Plus 115 Stiff uses an ultra-light Air Core Carbon core for responsive, rigid power transfer. Cold Base Bonding preserves the base for consistent glide, while the World Cup Tip reduces swing weight to improve agility through transitions. The Skate Plus 115 construction moves the contact zones toward the tip and tail, increasing stability and making balance easier during skating phases. World Cup Skate sidecut combined with the DTG World Cup Plus finish provides a dynamic, efficient ride even on wet or transformed snow.

This model is delivered with a thin protective hot-wax layer on the base to protect it from dirt and oxidation during storage. This is not glide wax intended for immediate skiing: before the first outing, the layer must at minimum be scraped off with a sharp Plexiglas scraper using light, even pressure in the direction of glide. The base should then be brushed with a nylon or combination brush until its structure is fully exposed.

Who is the Fischer Speedmax 80 Skate Plus 115 Stiff for?

This model is ideal for sporty skiers who want to improve technically while using a stable, forgiving ski inspired by high-level racing standards.

What are the main qualities of the Fischer Speedmax 80 Skate Plus 115 Stiff?
