Packed with innovations derived from the World Cup, this skating ski stands out for its versatility and ability to perform across different snow conditions while remaining accessible thanks to added stability.

What is the Fischer Speedmax 90 Skate Plus 115 Stiff designed for?

Built around an ultra-light and dynamic Air Core HM Carbon core, the Speedmax 90 Skate Plus 115 Stiff uses a Skating 115 construction that moves the contact zones outward to maximize stability and make pressure application easier. Its DTG World Cup Plus base structure provides consistent glide in warm or wet conditions. Cold Base Bonding and Finish First promote optimal wax absorption and a high-quality finish, while the Gliding Sidewall allows the sidewalls to be waxed to reduce friction during the push phase.

This model is delivered with a thin protective hot-wax layer on the base to protect it from dirt and oxidation during storage. This is not glide wax intended for immediate skiing: before the first outing, the layer must at minimum be scraped off with a sharp Plexiglas scraper using light, even pressure in the direction of glide. The base should then be brushed with a nylon or combination brush until its structure is fully exposed.
