Product description — X-Ium Skating Premium+ S2

Nordic Ski X-Ium Skating Premium+ S2

The Rossignol X-IUM Skating Premium+ S2, the French brand’s flagship, already enjoys an excellent reputation, having proven its qualities at the last Winter Olympics. This versatile racing ski from Rossignol stands out for its exceptional performance and lightweight structure.

What is the Rossignol X-IUM Skating Premium+ S2 cross-country ski designed for?

The Premium+ S2 version is undoubtedly the most versatile in the range. The S2 skis feature a long camber, ideal for compact snow, and a K7000 base with a versatile cold structure, suitable for the common conditions in most European mountain ranges. The long camber provides a large contact surface, increasing aggressiveness in skating. For frequent skiers who often ski in the morning on hard snow, this ski offers exceptional performance. The Medium stiffness is the most versatile, fitting the most common skier profiles in cross-country skiing. In terms of structure, it uses a Nomex honeycomb core wrapped in carbon, enhancing lightness and response. The novelty of this version lies in its lightweight external structure, with a surface layer removed, giving the ski a matte finish. This results in better balance, a livelier tip, and less pendulum movement during transitions. Skiers familiar with the brand will be impressed by the improvement brought by this detail, making the ski more responsive. The integrated IFP binding plates are compatible with Turnamic, NNN, Prolink, and Turnamic bindings.

Who is the Rossignol X-IUM Skating Premium+ S2 cross-country ski aimed at?

This ski is ideal for ambitious skiers looking for a dynamic and aggressive model on compact snow. It is designed for those who love to feel the responsiveness under their feet and appreciate the relaunch phases where each push is optimised for maximum acceleration. It is a true pleasure to ski and a model of unmatched versatility.

What are the strengths of the Rossignol X-IUM Skating Premium+ S2 cross-country ski?

Aggressive in skating

Stable in skating and direct track

Excellent tip balance when exiting the snow
