Description

As usual the Norwegian brand graces us with a new pole at the forefront of technical innovation with this new Triac 4.0 Aero. The result of numerous development tests with the best athletes and technicians in the world, this new racing pole manages to be even more efficient than its predecessor, the Triac 3.0, and that's no mean feat! The tube is 15% stiffer, and the aerodynamics have been worked on so that the shape of the stick is now teardrop-shaped instead of triangular as it was on the previous versions. Wind tunnel tests confirm that the stick has reduced its air resistance by 20%. This may seem to be a minor issue, but for people who are likely to use this type of poles the arguments of stiffness and aerodynamics are of great importance.

The accessories remain the same as the 3.0 version with the TCS beveled cork handle that offers exceptional comfort in terms of grip and freedom at the end of the push.

The TBS system is still present on the baskets, which allows an easy and glueless change of baskets or for a switch to rollerski mode. The Triac 4.0 Aero is without a doubt the best performing stick on the market, it benefits from the expertise of Swix engineers and the help of the best technicians. Swix is the ultimate reference in terms of competition sticks, and this, for decades.

Regarding the straps, be careful, this stick is sold in a pack, so it is important to choose the right strap size in the pack. In order not to make a mistake, refer to your glove size.

  • When going for a single-shafted touring pole, add about 5 centimetres to the length given in the table to gain efficiency through ascents.
  • For a telescopic pole, people measuring more than 1m85 should choose a pole extending up to 1m50 in order to avoid reaching the extension limit.
