Extremely light, compact and functional: the SHOVEL PRO LIGHT is one of the best snow shovels for all ski tourers who like to keep it light and make high demands on their equipment!

With innovative materials, modern manufacturing techniques and well thought-out cutouts on the bucket, this lightweight avalanche shovel has a minimal weight (440 g ) without sacrificing rigidity. For the handle, Ortovox uses high-quality 7075 aluminum, which is very light yet extremely rigid. The bucket is made of 6061 aluminium. Thanks to its telescopic handle with quick lock, this lightweight avalanche shovel can be adjusted quickly. It can be adapted for left- or right-handed use thanks to its practical plug-in function.

The space-saving blade of the SHOVEL PRO LIGHT is grooved so that the foot does not slip when digging. The sharp, stable cutting edge guarantees optimum performance. High edges and a central bar on the bucket give this lightweight avalanche shovel the necessary rigidity.

Thanks to the material recesses, the SHOVEL PRO LIGHT is not only lighter, but also suitable for building a rescue sled and for use as a snow anchor. It is also compatible with the PRO ALU III handle and fits into all oRTOVOX backpacks.
