Product description — Hawx Magna 120 S Dual Boa Dark Slate

With its dual BOA dial, the Hawx Magna 120 S Dual Boa Dark Slate targets skiers who want control without giving up very fast entry and adjustment. The wide shell and Mimic Platinum liner complete a high-end package for good skiers seeking precision and comfort, especially with wider feet.

What is the programme of the Atomic Hawx Magna 120 S Dual Boa Dark Slate ski boot?

The 120 S Dual Boa is a versatile ski boot designed to handle the whole ski area. Its 120 flex is stiff and supports committed skiing while providing progressive response thanks to Power Shift 2.0 technology. The dual BOA® Fit System (H+i1) replaces the buckles on both the shell and cuff, allowing quick and independent adjustment of the two zones. The 102 mm last provides generous room with comfort as the priority.

Who is the Atomic Hawx Magna 120 S Dual Boa Dark Slate ski boot for?

This boot is aimed at advanced to expert skiers looking for precision, power and support at sustained speed. A lighter expert skier and a heavier or powerful advanced skier can both make good use of it.

What are the main qualities of the Atomic Hawx Magna 120 S Dual Boa Dark Slate ski boot?

Adjustment

Support

Precision

Is the 120 flex suitable for beginners?

No, the 120 flex requires solid technique and strong pressure to be used properly. For learning or progressing, a softer Hawx Magna 80, 90 or 100 will be more suitable.

Is the boot compatible with GripWalk bindings?

Yes, its AMT GripWalk sole complies with the GripWalk ISO 23223 standard and remains compatible with GW bindings.

Is the liner heat-mouldable?

Yes, the Mimic Platinum liner is fully heat-mouldable and includes a Power Ankle Lock that secures the ankle on descents.

What is the difference compared with the Hawx Magna 110?

The 120 S Dual Boa has a stiffer 120 flex, uses a dual BOA system for finer adjustment and features a higher-end Mimic Platinum liner. The Hawx Magna 110 keeps a more accessible 110 flex, four traditional buckles and a Mimic Silver liner.
