Product description — Hawx Prime 100 Boa Black Red

The Atomic Hawx Prime 100 Boa Black Red ski boot offers the same comfortable fit as the buckle version, but with a BOA® system on the shell allowing for very quick adjustment. Whether on blue or red runs, it lets you drive through the shins without harsh stiffness, and the micrometric dial enables fine-tuned, differentiated tightening in this part of the boot.

What is the intended use of the Atomic Hawx Prime 100 Boa Black Red ski boot?

Recreational piste skiing, ideal for green to red runs with the occasional more technical section. The flex rating of 100 provides support without being demanding, allowing you to enjoy the day without burning thighs by mid-morning. The BOA® Fit System on the shell evenly distributes pressure across the instep, complemented by the heat-mouldable Mimic Silver liner and the Energy Backbone for enhanced power transmission. The 100 mm last suits narrow feet seeking comfort or medium to wider feet prioritising precision.

Who is the Atomic Hawx Prime 100 Boa Black Red ski boot designed for?

It is aimed at intermediate to advanced skiers who want to simplify boot entry and enjoy quick tightening without sacrificing comfort.

What are the main strengths of the Atomic Hawx Prime 100 Boa Black Red ski boot?

Comfort

Speed

Responsiveness

What foot shape best suits the 100 mm last?

The 100 mm last suits narrow feet prioritising comfort or medium-width feet seeking precision. A narrow foot does not automatically require heat-moulding: the fit simply favours comfort over a close, precise hold.

Does the BOA® system work efficiently in very cold conditions?

Yes, the dial and cable operate normally in resort temperatures without any loss of smoothness.

What is the difference compared with the Hawx Prime 100 Black Red?

With the same flex rating of 100, this version replaces the two lower buckles with a BOA® Fit System on the shell for faster and more evenly distributed tightening across the instep. The four-buckle version retains a more segmented, manual adjustment.
