Product description — Hawx Prime Xtd 115 Boa W Olive Dust

The Atomic Hawx Prime XTD 115 BOA W Iron Ore Dust is a women’s ski boot designed for freerando, offering true downhill performance and good mobility on the ascent. Its Free/Lock 4.5 system, combined with the Frictionless pivot, provides 54° of range of motion in walk mode, while the BOA® Fit System on the shell ensures a precise and consistent fit. With its 115 flex rating, this model offers firm support and efficient power transfer for aggressive skiing on steep slopes, hard snow, and off-piste terrain.

What is the intended use of the Atomic Hawx Prime XTD 115 BOA W Iron Ore Dust ski boot?

The Hawx Prime XTD 115 BOA W Iron Ore Dust is designed for a downhill-oriented freerando experience. Its ski/walk mode allows for greater freedom of movement during skin-up ascents, while its 115 flex provides high stiffness to maintain precision and responsiveness on the descent. The BOA® Fit System on the shell allows for quick adjustment of the forefoot tightness, with evenly distributed pressure. The thermoformable Mimic Platinum liner improves the fit around the foot and ankle, while the Skywalk insole optimizes traction during walking. The Half-tech inserts allow for use with certain compatible freerando bindings. With a last width of 100 mm, it offers a good balance between comfort and precision for medium-width feet.

Who is the Atomic Hawx Prime Xtd 115 Boa W Iron Ore Dust ski boot designed for?

It’s designed for advanced to expert female skiers looking for a freerando boot that’s precise, stiff, and high-performance on the descent. Its 115 flex requires good technical skill and a committed stance, while still providing the mobility needed for skinning ascents and all-day off-piste adventures.

What are the main features of the Atomic Hawx Prime Xtd 115 Boa W Iron Ore Dust ski boot?

Precision

Freedom of movement

Versatility

What range of motion does the Free/Lock 4.5 system offer?

The Free/Lock 4.5 system, combined with the Frictionless pivot, provides 54° of range of motion in walk mode. This mobility makes skinning and off-piste travel easier, and the cuff locks back into place to restore precise performance on the descent.

Is the Mimic Platinum liner warm?

Yes, the Mimic Platinum liner features a structured construction and memory foam that contribute to thermal comfort during all-day off-piste outings in cold weather.

What’s the difference between this and the Hawx Prime XTD 95 BOA W Black Ice?

The Hawx Prime XTD 115 BOA W offers a significantly stiffer flex than the Hawx Prime XTD 95 BOA W—115 versus 95. It therefore provides greater precision, support, and power transfer on descents, while the 95 version remains more accessible for versatile freerando riding.
