The Carbonlite range is getting a facelift this season and the classic part of the Austrian brand is no exception. This new Carbonlite has a sleek design and a new gaiter that brings it closer to the Speedmax models. A shoe made of compromises in order to provide performance and Comfort.  

What are the characteristics of the Fischer Speedmax Classic WS cross-country ski boot?   

For this new Carbonlite Classic, Fischer has retained the base of the boot, as it has already proven its worth in terms of comfort. The real differences are in the midsole, which has been stiffened to provide more precise lateral support at the end of the track. Coupled with the inner moulded frame that wraps around the heel, it provides optimum support for the rearfoot and helps to guide the ski more precisely. The biggest change is in the gaiters, as this Carbonlite model has been largely inspired by the Speedmax World Cup boot. The new gaiters are more fitted and contribute to the overall fit of the liner, the cut of the boot seems less wide, yet the volume of the insole is still the same. The technical changes on the Carbonlite have only improved the weakest points of the old model without changing the well-known Comfort of this range. the tightening system of the liner is fast and efficient thanks to the Fischer Speedlock system. In addition, the Easy Entry Loops provide a secure and even fit around the circumference. My Turnamic Race Classic outsole is specially developed for this technique and guarantees maximum flexibility in pushing in the axis. This sole is compatible with Turnamic, NNN and Prolink binding standards.
