Fischer has redesigned the Carbonlite Skate, taking great care to draw inspiration from the Speedmax model. The Austrian brand, expert in cross-country skiing, took a while to bring out this new model whose level of performance is equalled only by its Comfort.  

What are the characteristics of the Fischer Carbonlite Skate cross-country ski boot?   

Those of you who already use or knew about the old Carbonlite models will be aware that there is a major modification on this model; the disparity of the instep clamp. This accessory that has been very fashionable for years is gradually fading with the ability of brands to provide more precise insole in the rearfoot. The Carbonlite Skate is now free of this ratchet, making the whole shoe considerably lighter. The Carbonlite Skate is still equipped with its carbon heel block, which has also been modified and cut to provide greater precision when skiing. The World Cup Carbon Cuff provides optimum ankle support and is a remnant of the old model with an identical cut-out. In terms of stability and control, it is positioned as a high-performance boot with a little more question of Comfort. For those who are concerned about the fit of the shoe, Fischer has thought of everything, the instep strap has been removed in favour of a new lacing system which allows those who need it to reattach the laces higher to block the heel with a diagonal clamp. The Turnamic sole provides a very good feel thanks to its thin structure. This sole is compatible with NNN, Prolink and Turnamic shoe standards. The adjustment of the liner is quick and easy thanks to the Fischer Speed Lock system. The lace-up cover is close to the foot and the non-stretch liner ensures that the shoe is close to the foot. Carbonlite is a great alternative between comfort and performance and its latest innovations make it lighter and thinner.

To put it simply, it's probably the most forgiving shoe in the high-end range. It adapts to all foot shapes and its shoe adjustment systems offer everyone the opportunity to find their own compromise between comfort and precision.
