Product description — RC4 120 MV Boa VAC Gw

The Fischer RC4 120 MV BOA VAC GW ski boot brings race technologies calibrated for a medium volume and 120 flex with a piste-performance DNA.

What is the programme of the Fischer RC4 120 MV BOA VAC GW ski boot?

This boot targets the piste with sporty handling: fast groomers, carved long and short turns, and firm pressure. The 120 flex locks the leg forward while retaining usable response over long days, where a 130 flex requires more constant commitment. The RC4 Vacuum Fit + liner uses a D3O® tongue to cushion impacts on the shin, while SOMA-TEC positions the foot in natural abduction to save energy during prolonged pressure. Closure combines two shin buckles with a BOA® Fit System over the instep, within a medium 100 mm last.

Who is the Fischer RC4 120 MV BOA VAC GW ski boot for?

This model is built for advanced to expert skiers who want a precise piste boot without going all the way to a 130 flex. A lighter skier will already find the 120 flex quite responsive over a full day.

What are the main qualities of the Fischer RC4 120 MV BOA VAC GW ski boot?

Precision

Support

Performance

Does SOMA-TEC technology make a real difference?

It positions the foot in its natural abduction axis, reducing joint strain and making transfer to the outside of the turn easier.

What does the D3O® tongue provide in practice?

It absorbs shocks at the shin during strong pressure and adds stability in the flex zone without making the boot stiffer.

Is the shell heat-mouldable?

VACUUM Fit technology allows the shell to be worked on in store if pain or pressure points remain after the first uses. The liner gradually shapes through natural foot heat over successive outings.

What is the difference compared with the RC4 130 MV BOA VAC GW?

The RC4 120 MV shares the same architecture (Vacuum Fit + with D3O, BOA, RD20 Race Canting) but uses a 120 flex that requires less constant commitment than the 130 over time, broadening its use to full piste days without sacrificing precision.
