Product description — Speedmax 6 Skate Boa

Cross-country ski boot Speedmax 6 Skate Boa

The Fischer Speedmax 6 Skate Boa cross-country ski boot is designed for skate skiing sessions, from training to local races, with a comfortable fit that holds the foot securely without constricting it over long distances.

What is the Fischer Speedmax 6 Skate Boa cross-country ski boot designed for?

It is intended for skate skiing on groomed trails, both for frequent training sessions and amateur races. The shell and cuff incorporate carbon, keeping the boot lightweight at 1,040g per pair while efficiently transferring lateral power to the ski. The articulated Hinged Polymer Cuff supports the ankle when pushing off while allowing it to flex forwards with every skating stride. The Race Fit Concept keeps the foot stable over the ski while providing the most comfortable fit in the Speedmax range.

Who is the Fischer Speedmax 6 Skate Boa cross-country ski boot aimed at?

This boot is aimed at advanced cross-country skiers who train regularly using the skating technique and compete in amateur races. It is the most accessible model in the Speedmax collection, delivering the low weight and stability of a race-oriented boot with a more forgiving fit than the higher-end, more performance-focused models.

What are the strengths of the Fischer Speedmax 6 Skate Boa cross-country ski boot?

Low weight

Stability

How is the Fischer Speedmax 6 Skate Boa tightened?

A Boa dial tightens the boot evenly, with just a few clicks required to fine-tune the support. A hook-and-loop strap provides additional adjustment around the ankle.

What is the difference between the Fischer Speedmax 6 Skate Boa and the Fischer Speedmax 7 Skate Boa?

The Speedmax 6 offers a more comfortable fit, a single Boa system and a lower weight. The Speedmax 7 adds a dual Boa system and a Zero Play Hinge pivot for more direct power transmission, together with a closer, race-oriented fit.

Does the Fischer Speedmax 6 Skate Boa keep snow out?

The waterproof Sealed Zipper and Lace Cover flap help prevent snow from entering the boot.

Which bindings are compatible with the Fischer Speedmax 6 Skate Boa?

Its sole meets the Turnamic standard, making it compatible with Turnamic bindings.
