Description

The Head J 2 children's ski boot takes over as the foot grows and skiing becomes more structured. It's perfect for group lessons as well as first family runs on green and blue runs.

What is the Head J 2 ski boot designed for?

The J 2 is designed for recreational use, geared toward alpine skiing on gentle slopes and ski school terrain. Its two low-profile plastic buckles provide sufficient tightness for moderate speeds, while remaining easy to adjust. The Junior liner and Vario Last combine a comfortable toe box with precise volume in the ankle area to accommodate the foot’s growth. The Natural Kid Stance geometry and Jr Hi-Top Tech keep the child in a stable stance with good lateral support.

Is it easy for a child to put the boot on?

Yes, the Easy Entry design makes it easy to slip the foot in, and the two plastic buckles are effortless to operate.

What is the purpose of Duo Flex at this skill level?

It provides a flexible initial engagement to help bend the legs, followed by a quicker lock-in that supports forward weight transfer.

How does it differ from the J 3?
