Product description — Recon 130 Af Zonal Boa

The K2 Recon 130 AF Zonal Boa is a men's ski boot calibrated for skiers who want firm, consistent support when driving hard through the edges. On piste, it targets clean, committed lines, long-radius carving and technical slopes.

What is the K2 Recon 130 AF Zonal Boa ski boot designed for?

The Recon 130 AF Zonal Boa is at home on groomed pistes and firm snow, in committed skiing where precision matters more than softness. The 130 flex delivers direct power transfer between the leg and the edge with minimal loss under load. The dual-zone Zonal BOA® system tightens the upper and lower zones separately, helping hold the foot in the shell without pressure points. The 100 mm last suits narrow feet prioritising comfort as well as medium to wide feet prioritising precision.

Who is the K2 Recon 130 AF Zonal Boa ski boot for?

It is aimed at advanced to expert skiers who push hard through their inputs and want a direct response with uncompromising support. A lighter skier may find it very powerful, while a strong skier will fully exploit its stiffness.

What are the main strengths of the K2 Recon 130 AF Zonal Boa ski boot?

Stiffness

Precision

Adjustability

Is the liner thermoformable?

Yes. The P1 AF (All Foam) liner is fully thermoformable and closely adapts to the shape of the foot after heat moulding.

Is the forward lean adjustable?

Yes. Three positions are available (10°, 12° and 14°) to adapt the skiing stance to the terrain or skier preference.

Is the sole compatible with GripWalk bindings?

Yes. The GripWalk sole makes walking on flat ground easier and is compatible with GW bindings.

What is the difference compared with the K2 Recon 120 Zonal Boa?

The Recon 130 AF Zonal Boa keeps a fixed 130 flex, stiffer and more demanding than the 120 flex of the Recon 120 Zonal Boa. It is more focused on skiers looking for very direct power transfer under heavy load.
