Madshus introduces the second version of its race model, the Redline. This very precise boot works wonder on the World Cup circuit. It has undergone some internal modifications to improve comfort and make it more accessible.  

What are the characteristics of the Madhus Redline Skate Nordic ski boot?

The new competition boot from the Norwegian brand has undergone some technical updates for its second iteration. The first and most important point, the last (no pun intended). More generous and rounded at the toe box, it is not as exclusive and is more welcoming to wider feet than the previous version. However, keep in mind that this is a race boot and its prime goal remains precision, meaning it fits snuggly without being too extreme. The second change is on the cuff now featuring a more comfortable and better finished foam to prevent pressure points. The internal heel piece will adapt to the shape of the foot progressively when skiing. For the rest of the boot, Madshus has kept the same base, you find the magnificent carbon chassis/cuff for maximum skating stability. Support is astounding, even when pushing the limits of imbalance, you will not feel any deformation or instability. The carbon outsole provides the required stiffness for dynamic pushes and enhances the responsiveness of the skis. For the closure system, Madshus relies on the Renowrap system that wraps at 360° around the foot to improve precision. The lacing in itself is a classic lace that offers secure tensioning. Like all the Madshus model, this boot is compatible with the NNN, Prolink and Turnamic binding standards.
