This women's version of the X-8 Classic remains in the tradition of the models that preceded it. A sporty, forgiving and progressive classic boot for a more advanced approach to classic cross-country skiing.  

What are the features of the Rossignol X-8 Classic FW cross country ski boot?   

A good classic cross-country ski boot requires two key parameters, a good support of the heel for the guidance of the ski and a flexible roll of the foot in alternating step. The good news is that the women's version of the X-8 offers both and provides an excellent level of comfort. Thanks to its Dual Tec heel counter, the exit of tracks and turning steps are done safely and with a feeling of support and precision very satisfactory. The Turnamic sole provides flexibility when rolling for a more homogeneous movement at the end of the push in the axis. The shoe has a good width in the front to maintain a very good level of comfort and to retain some internal air for insulation. The Speedlace Lock lacing system makes it easy to put the liner on and provides a great fit. In terms of binding compatibility, it is suitable for NNN, Prolink and Turnamic standards.
