What is the Rossignol X-8 Skate cross-country ski boot made for?

This boot has been designed for skating. Thanks to its plastic collar attached to the Dual Core bi-density chassis, it offers optimal lateral stability and excellent heel support for precise control. Its Skating Turnamic sole provides adequate front-end stiffness to avoid any deformation during lateral push and to keep the ski as close to the boot as possible. The liner retains a certain width for optimal comfort and can be adjusted with the Speedlace Lock quick lacing system. The boot is compatible with Turnamic, NNN and Prolink binding standards.
