What is the Rossignol X-IUM Carbon Premium Classic Cross-Country Ski Boot made for?

The X-IUM Premium Classic has enjoyed great success in recent years, primarily due to its comfortable fit, but not solely. The carbon heel counters on either side provide optimal support for precise ski control. Although the midsole is not visible, it is reinforced with a thin carbon blade, which stiffens the boot laterally while maintaining the necessary flexibility for foot roll. The Turnamic Expert Classic sole protects this carbon layer, thus increasing the boot's durability without compromising its flexibility. The neoprene liner with Velcro strap is easy to put on and adjust thanks to the Speedlace Lock quick lacing system. While this model is now technically outclassed by the Premium+, it remains ultra-performing for the majority of skiers. All Rossignol boots are equipped with Turnamic soles compatible with NNN, Prolink, and Turnamic binding standards.
