The apparition of compressed carbon, that was not seen before 2020 starts to gain in popularity. This manufacturing process that is less costly than woven and moulded carbon offers support, dynamism and precision. The X-IUM WC for women features a compressed carbon chassis/cuff for more efficiency compared to composite. More stiffness but a 3D structure that retains the forgiveness of the cuff, the X-IUM WC is known for. Ultra-stable in skating, excellent ankle flexion, everything to make it an efficient and accessible model. The last is suited to female bodies, narrower than the one on the unisex model, with 93 mm of width at the metatarsals. Yet, it remains ultra-comfortable with a rounded shape that leaves some room and air for insulation. Speedlace Lock lacing system for quick and precise tensioning, central opening, Rossignol has kept the concept that were already working and adjusted the cuff and reinforcements to increase performance and improve support. A very nice women’s boot that proves once again that Rossignol produces some of the best cross-country ski boots nowadays.
