The RS is back with a new look and a new lace cover that brings it up to date both aesthetically and technically. The RS has been known for being a safe choice for many years as it offers tons of forgiveness to skiers. Progressive, it allows to make technical progress on the long term.

What are the features of the Salomon RS Prolink cross-country ski boot?

For this version, the French brand has chosen to keep the proven concepts of the previous models while adding attractive new features, with for example an easy-to-access liner. The RS Prolink boasts a plastic 3D Advanced Chassis, which is combined with a carbon plate, to provide control, forgiveness as well as torsional rigidity. The Energyzer cuff provides powerful lateral and progressive support with great ankle support. The lace cover is different as it now features a central zipper which replaces the diagonal system of the older versions. As a result, it is easier to access the liner and to tighten the boot. The Quicklace Dissociated Lacing System provides a consistent and independent tightening of the forefoot and upper foot areas. The 102mm boot last ensures compatibility with many foot morphologies without compromising the precision provided by the 3D chassis. The Prolink sole delivers excellent contact with the ski and promotes direct power transfers. To keep things simple, this boot is compatible with the NNN and Prolink systems and offers a wide choice of skis and bindings.
