Description

The Atomic BCT Touring Carbon SQS is one of Atomic's best sticks, featuring a hybrid construction of high-end 5* aluminum and 6* carbon. Robust, light and compact, it is the ideal partner for ski touring. The length of this telescopic pole can be easily adjusted (from 95 to 145 cm) according to the inclination of the slope, while the extended EVA handle provides a comfortable lower grip. This model is also equipped with the SQS emergency release system that instantly releases the strap in case of too much tension to limit the risk of injury. Finally, this stick remains visible at night thanks to its reflective elements.

Exceptions:

- For a single-section hiking pole, add about 5 cm to the values above to improve efficiency on climbs.

- For a telescopic pole, if you are taller than 1.85 m, choose a model extending up to 1.50 m to avoid reaching full extension.
