Which Volkl ski touring to choose?
The Völkl Rise range can be divided into three groups and thus three different types of ski touring.
First of all, there is the Rise Up 82 and its women's version Rise Up 82 W, which together form the ski range for light touring enthusiasts. These are perfect skis for a "fitness" touring practice, where lightness and efficiency during ascents are a priority.
Then we move on to the more versatile touring model, the All-Mountain tour with the Rise High 88, Rise Above 88 and Rise Above 88 Women. The Rise Above 88s are the first choice for skiers looking for versatility and efficiency on both ascents and descents. The Rise High 88 is slightly lighter thanks to its carbon structure, which will satisfy even more demanding skiers in terms of weight/performance ratio.
Finally, the Rise range ends with the Rise Beyond 98, designed for freetouring. Robust yet light enough, this ski is perfect for long descents in powder but also works well on ascents.
