Description courte

The 2019 Daemon ski from Black Crows is a fantastic and unique all-mountain ski featuring a reverse camber to maximise powder performance.

Black Crows continues the Daemon for 2019, an outstanding ski that was first released last year. It boasts a generous 99mm waist making it stand in between the Navis and the Camox. But the real difference doesn’t come from the width which is pretty standard, but from the profile. You’ll notice a full reverse camber on this ski. This type of camber ensures the best floatability along with unparalleled agility in powder.

What can the Black Crows Daemon ski do?

If you are familiar with reverse cambers then you know what the ski is capable of. These profiles are best for powder skiers who ski as often as they can in the white room. The banana shape provides a natural floatation and enhances manoeuverability making turns super easy even in a knee-deep snow. The profile allows for freestyle sessions and switch riding as well as bouncing from a pillow to another with a grin stuck on your face. The only downside is when it comes to riding on hard snow. Reverse cambers tend to minimise the running edge length of the ski which results in a lack of grip. So, don’t buy the Daemon if you are a carver. However, if you spend most of your time off piste but you want a ski that holds its own on piste, then the Daemon is the right pick .

Who is the Black Crows Daemon ski designed for ?

Freeride-oriented all-mountain ski primariliy intended for advanced freeriders looking for a powerful powder weapon. The great benefit of riding with the Daemon is that you can still use it on piste if conditions aren’t great.

What are the main assets of the Black Crows Daemon ski?
