Product description — Cruiser Ef

The Fischer Cruiser EF cross-country ski is a classic fish scale ski designed for recreational and more performance-oriented outings, with no kick wax to manage. It grips with every stride and remains easy to control when the terrain heads downhill.

What is the Fischer Cruiser EF cross-country ski designed for?

The Cruiser EF is made for classic skiing in the tracks, in both cold and wet snow. Its Vario Crown fish scales combine single, double and gliding sections to provide reliable grip during the kick phase without compromising glide. The Efficient Forward profile makes each stride smooth and forgiving, while the Air Channel Basalite core and Power Layer keep weight to a minimum. Its sidecut and shorter lengths make it stable and manoeuvrable through turns and on descents.

Who is the Fischer Cruiser EF cross-country ski aimed at?

This model is designed for recreational cross-country skiers seeking an easy-to-use ski with a maintenance-free grip zone, while retaining a degree of responsiveness on flat terrain and gentle undulations. It is also reassuring for skiers who are not yet fully confident on descents.

What are the strengths of the Fischer Cruiser EF cross-country ski?

Grip

Manoeuvrability

Versatility

Does the Cruiser EF retain its grip in changing snow conditions?

Yes. The fish scale pattern provides dependable traction across a range of conditions, from cold, dry snow to transformed snow, with no adjustments required before heading out.

Does the Cruiser EF need waxing?

Not underfoot, as the fish scales provide the necessary grip. Applying glide wax to the tip and tail helps maintain the base's Speed Grinding 2.0 structure.

Is the Cruiser EF resistant to impacts?

Yes. The Rental Tail Protector reinforces the tails, which are the areas most exposed to knocks during storage and transport.

Which bindings should be fitted to the Fischer Cruiser EF?

The ski comes with a plate compatible with the Fischer Control Step-In binding, which can be clipped into simply by pressing down with your foot.
