Product description — Speedpro 50 Skate

The Fischer Speedpro 50 Skate cross-country ski is a skate ski designed for both sporty outings and training sessions. It tracks straight from the push-off and maintains its speed through to the next weight transfer.

What is the Fischer Speedpro 50 Skate cross-country ski designed for?

The Speedpro 50 Skate is suitable for everything from long-distance skate skiing to higher-tempo training sessions. Its Air Channel core, featuring integrated air channels, and Power Layer reduce weight for smoother weight transfers. The arrow-shaped Sidecut World Cup Skate profile and Skating 115 camber, with widely spaced contact points, help the ski hold an edge and make every push effective on firm snow. The World Cup Pro base and Speed Grinding 2.0 structure maintain glide as snow conditions change throughout the day.

Who is the Fischer Speedpro 50 Skate cross-country ski aimed at?

This ski is intended for cross-country skiers who have mastered the fundamentals of skate skiing and want a performance-oriented model without the demands of a race ski. It bridges the gap between hire equipment and a more technical ski: easy to position, it delivers rewarding feedback from the very first outings and remains forgiving when weight placement is less precise. Its durable construction withstands frequent use.

What are the strengths of the Fischer Speedpro 50 Skate cross-country ski?

Stability

Forgiveness

Durability

Which wax should be used for the Speedpro 50 Skate?

The base structure is already suited to a wide range of snow conditions. A glide wax selected according to the temperature is all that is required for maintenance.

Which bindings should be fitted to the Fischer Speedpro 50 Skate?

The IFP plate accommodates Turnamic bindings without drilling. The binding position can be moved forwards or backwards directly on the plate to suit the conditions.

How does it differ from the Fischer Speedpro 60 Skate?

The 50 is more forgiving. The lighter 60 responds more dynamically to changes in pace.
