"From groomers to powder, i'll help you find the gear you need. The only thing that's left for you is, have fun on the slopes! Call me on 020 3129 3301."

For the winter 2018-2019, Movement has revamped the Icon range to offer even more performance. Hence, the Icon 89 is now endowed with integrated Titanal Power Plates, to benefit from more stability in turns as well as maximum power transmission. As a result, this versatile piste ski is more lively, but also more demanding.

What can the Movement Icon Ti 89 ski do?

The Icon Ti 89 is a real 50/50 All Mountain ski which will equally allow you to hard-charge on groomers and slash through slush snow on the edges of the slopes. Its classic camber will provide maximum edge hold on hardpack, while the VA-Tech system will help dampening vibrations, so you can bomb at Mach 2 and still enjoy a smooth feel. The Twin Rocker allows occasional forays in fresh snow, and the shorter tail rocker adds more control and manoeuvrability in all circumstances. The Icon is a great All Mountain ski, performing and playful on all terrains, which will turn the whole mountain into your playground.

Who is the Movement Icon Ti 89 ski designed for?

We recommend the Icon Ti 89 to the advanced to expert skiers who want a versatile piste ski offering as much response on piste as off-piste.

What are the best assets of the Movement Icon Ti 89 ski?

Grip on hard snow

Stability at high speed

Tips & advice

On, you may feel overwhelmed by the amount of products we sell. How can you find the right skis, which ones can suit your level, your style or your budget?

Your options:

1. The advanced search engine: You'll find it everywhere on our website, as a sidebar on our listing pages. It allows you to select conditions and refine your selection: brand, level, style, etc. When you select them, only the relevant products will show.

2. You can contact us on the 020 3129 3301: skis feature fine technologies and affect your safety. It is important to make sure that the skis you've selected will suit you. Call our landline and get in touch with our team for any questions regarding these products.

During the process or your order, we'll ask you to complete a form about the mounting of your bindings. With these details, we will be able to mount the bindings with the correct settings. The release value of the bindings is set by a professional skiman, and according to the norm AFNOR FD S 52-748.

If you don't have your own ski boots when you order, the bindings will be pre-mounted. The final settings can be done :

- by a shop if you are renting your ski boots

- by our skiman : you can call us for any technical questions. Our skiman will do the final settings for you. Telephone : 020 3129 3301

All skis you purchase on our website are factory-waxed and tuned. This means they are ready to hit the slopes. However, gear tends to wear and in order to keep it in its best shape, you need to maintain base and edges on a regular basis.

Maintaining your skis is essential for a smooth glide and a solit grip. Frequency of maintenance may vary depending on how often you use your skis, or on how damaged they are. We recommend you to wax them every 10 riding days and at the end of the season. Edges need to be tuned up to 2 times per season if you want to keep a good edge control. However, don't overdo it. Tuning is basically scraping off material. If you do it too often, the edges will vanish after some time.

When your base is damaged and shows shallow scratches or rock gouge, it is possible to repair it.

You can get these repairs done by professional ski shop, or if the gouge is only superficial you may repair it yourself. To do so, you will need special tools and materials such as wax, Ptex for repairing bases, edge sharpeners, etc. You can find them on our website.

All products benefit from a manufacturer guarantee, as long as the damage is caused by a manufacturing defect (may it be hidden or obvious).

Usually, the manufacturer guarantee lasts two years.

Only the manufacturer is able to decide if there has been a 'manufacturing defect' or a 'misuse'. Glisshop is only an intermediary between you and the manufacturer.

The manufacturer's guarantee will not apply if the problem comes from a misuse.
