Description

As last year, the Rival comes in two separate versions featuring different closure systems. The BOA®, and the BOA® Focus. We sell it both don't worry.

 

Here's the BOA® version. As a quick reminder, the BOA system helps the rider tightening his boots by simply spinning a little reel on the boot. BOA® systems are quick to use and ensure a consistent and even pressure while avoiding hot spots.

 

Add to this a mid flex for more versatility and a good balance between forgiveness and responsiveness, mix it with a superior support provided by the 3 Barrel liner that incorporates its own lacing system.Shake vigorously. Sprinkle the result with a BFE outsole to ensure a safe and comfortable walk and you get one of the most comfortable and versatile boot ever made.

 

What our testers say : The boot is light and dampening as it needs to be. Once you adjust the closure, which takes approximately 2.5 seconds, the foot feels comfortably locked in place. After the first turns you're able to tell the boot can handle anything and be good at it. The mid flex is well balanced, just stiff enough for a hot powder session, and soft enough to forgive sketchy landings in the park. It should suit a broad range of riders, although its main target will be freestylers, from intermediate to advanced level.
