What is the Nitro Scala Boa boot line designed for?
The Scala Boa is made for casual riding, exploring, and improving: varied slopes, the edges of the slopes, small features—anything that requires freedom of movement rather than technical precision. With a soft flex (an upper that’s easy to bend), the ankle remains mobile and the boot forgives any missteps.
The boot is tightened using two independent Boa® dials: one adjusts the foot area, the other the upper around the calf, each adjustable separately in just a few seconds, even while wearing gloves. The inner liner tightens separately using its own quick-lacing system: the foot remains secure even when the shell is loosened to let your feet breathe while riding up the lift.
