The Amplid Memory Stick is an accessible, playful, all-around freestyle snowboard designed for riders who want to transition from the piste to side hits without changing boards. Within the Amplid lineup, it’s simpler and more forgiving than the Singular Twin, while still maintaining a true all-mountain focus.

What is the Amplid Memory Stick snowboard designed for?

The Memory Stick is built to ride the entire mountain with a freestyle focus, from the slopes to small jumps and the edges of the runs. Its directional twin shape is similar to a symmetrical board for switch riding, while retaining a slight preferred riding direction that’s useful for all-mountain riding. Its hybrid camber combines edge grip underfoot with rocker at the tips to facilitate turns and maintain ease in powder.

Tips and advice

Size of your board?

The length of your board is extremely important. Several parameters have to be taken into account : Your height, your weight, your level and your program (allmountain-freeride-freestyle). We created a calculator that will tell you what size of board would suit you best, once you've completed these parameters. You can also call us (+33 4 73 26 98 47) to get a personal advice from our experienced team.
The snowboards you'll purchase on our website are all factory waxed and tuned. That means it's ready to hit the slopes. However, that doesn't work forever, and in order to keep your equipment at the top performance, you need to maintain base and edges on a regular basis.
Maintaining your skis is essential to ensure an optimal glide and grip. Frequency of maintenance may vary depending on how often you use your board, or on how damaged it is. We recommend that you wax it every 10 riding days, and at the end of the season. Edges need to be tuned up to 2 times per season if you want to keep a good edge control. However, don't get them overtuned because every tuning takes some of the steel off.

When your base is damaged and shows shallow scratches or rock gouge, it is possible to repair it.

You can get these repairs done by professional ski shop, or if the gouge is only superficial you may repair it yourself. To do so, you will need special tools and materials such as wax, Ptex for repairing bases, edge tuners, etc. You can find them on our website.
