Product description — Singular

Note: The colour of the bases may be different from the picture displayed on the website, manufacturers combine colours randomly.

The Amplid Singular is the line’s all-around freeride snowboard for riders who truly want a single board to do just about everything. Whether on the groomed runs, in powder, carving, jumping, or doing a few freestyle tricks, it’s more technical than the Soulmate but significantly less specialized than the Surfari.

What’s the deal with the Amplid Singular snowboard?

The Singular is a well-balanced all-mountain freeride board that handles both groomed runs and powder equally well, with enough pop to launch jumps when the terrain calls for it. Its directional shape promotes smooth turning and planing while remaining versatile enough for all-mountain riding. Its hybrid camber combines grip and responsiveness underfoot with rocker at the tips to maintain forgiveness and facilitate float.

Who is the Amplid Singular snowboard designed for?

This board is designed for intermediate to advanced riders who want to take their riding to the next level with a single board, without switching to a model that’s too specialized.

  • For switching between groomed runs, powder, and natural jumps
  • For riders who love carving but don’t want to sacrifice the rest
  • For those who find the Soulmate too tame and the Surfari too aggressive

A top choice if you’re looking for a truly versatile board to cover an entire season.

Not recommended if you’re primarily looking for a park twintip or a pure big-mountain freeride board.

Frequently Asked Questions About the Amplid Singular Snowboard

Does the Singular remain comfortable in rough terrain?

Yes. Its damping system reduces vibrations and helps maintain a smoother ride when the snow gets uneven.

Does the Singular have enough pop for jumps?

Yes. The Pop Carbon enhances the board’s responsiveness and supports takeoffs on kickers or natural terrain features.

Is the Singular good for carving on hard snow?

Yes. Its camber, strong edge grip, and construction provide solid support when you increase the angle on the edge.

Tips and advice

Size of your board?

The length of your board is extremely important. Several parameters have to be taken into account : Your height, your weight, your level and your program (allmountain-freeride-freestyle). We created a calculator that will tell you what size of board would suit you best, once you've completed these parameters. You can also call us (+33 4 73 26 98 47) to get a personal advice from our experienced team.
The snowboards you'll purchase on our website are all factory waxed and tuned. That means it's ready to hit the slopes. However, that doesn't work forever, and in order to keep your equipment at the top performance, you need to maintain base and edges on a regular basis.
Maintaining your skis is essential to ensure an optimal glide and grip. Frequency of maintenance may vary depending on how often you use your board, or on how damaged it is. We recommend that you wax it every 10 riding days, and at the end of the season. Edges need to be tuned up to 2 times per season if you want to keep a good edge control. However, don't get them overtuned because every tuning takes some of the steel off.

When your base is damaged and shows shallow scratches or rock gouge, it is possible to repair it.

You can get these repairs done by professional ski shop, or if the gouge is only superficial you may repair it yourself. To do so, you will need special tools and materials such as wax, Ptex for repairing bases, edge tuners, etc. You can find them on our website.
