Product description — Singular Twin

Note: The colour of the bases may be different from the picture displayed on the website, manufacturers combine colours randomly.

The Singular Twin is an extremely versatile all-mountain snowboard, designed for freestyle, suitable for both the resort and the terrain park. Its twin-tip shape with identical nose and tail makes switch riding easier, while offering ease and playfulness on all types of terrain.

What is the Amplid Singular Twin snowboard made for?

The Singular Twin is a highly versatile board with a twin-tip shape focused on freestyle. It is designed to perform everywhere, while benefiting from the board's manoeuvrability. Its traditional camber combined with rockers in the tips ensures good edge hold on groomers and comfort in fresh snow. Its balanced flex provides pop for ollies, response between turns, and stability at high speeds, without being too physically demanding.

Who is the Amplid Singular Twin snowboard aimed at?

We recommend the Singular Twin for intermediate to advanced snowboarders looking for a versatile freestyle board, with a twin-tip shape for a complete experience across the resort and in the terrain park.

Tips and advice

Size of your board?

The length of your board is extremely important. Several parameters have to be taken into account : Your height, your weight, your level and your program (allmountain-freeride-freestyle). We created a calculator that will tell you what size of board would suit you best, once you've completed these parameters. You can also call us (+33 4 73 26 98 47) to get a personal advice from our experienced team.
The snowboards you'll purchase on our website are all factory waxed and tuned. That means it's ready to hit the slopes. However, that doesn't work forever, and in order to keep your equipment at the top performance, you need to maintain base and edges on a regular basis.
Maintaining your skis is essential to ensure an optimal glide and grip. Frequency of maintenance may vary depending on how often you use your board, or on how damaged it is. We recommend that you wax it every 10 riding days, and at the end of the season. Edges need to be tuned up to 2 times per season if you want to keep a good edge control. However, don't get them overtuned because every tuning takes some of the steel off.

When your base is damaged and shows shallow scratches or rock gouge, it is possible to repair it.

You can get these repairs done by professional ski shop, or if the gouge is only superficial you may repair it yourself. To do so, you will need special tools and materials such as wax, Ptex for repairing bases, edge tuners, etc. You can find them on our website.
