The Element is a best-seller from Arbor. This board has been constantly improved to meet the needs of riders. It is a very versatile snowboard, designed for all-mountain freestyle, betting on a directional twin shape, classic camber and well-balanced flex between power and accessibility. Note the sustainability of the construction, with certified wood from durable resources, recycled steel edges, bio sources glue and wax and a bioplastic top sheet.  

What is the program of the Arbor Element Camber snowboard?  

The Element Camber features a directional twin shape, meaning the nose and tail are symmetrical for switch and freestyle abilities, but with a slightly setback stance to improve manoeuvrability and versatility. It is comfortable on any type of snow and terrain, with a really good grip on hard pack thanks to the classic camber paired with the Grip Tech edges, and enough floatability to have fun on the sides of the pistes and in fresh snow. You benefit from the camber and power of the wood core to link carved turns on the slopes but the board remains playful enough to throw tricks here and there and venture in the terrain park. An all-round program to satisfy a wide range of snowboarders.

Tips and advice

Size of your board?

The length of your board is extremely important. Several parameters have to be taken into account : Your height, your weight, your level and your program (allmountain-freeride-freestyle). We created a calculator that will tell you what size of board would suit you best, once you've completed these parameters. You can also call us (+33 4 73 26 98 47) to get a personal advice from our experienced team.
The snowboards you'll purchase on our website are all factory waxed and tuned. That means it's ready to hit the slopes. However, that doesn't work forever, and in order to keep your equipment at the top performance, you need to maintain base and edges on a regular basis.
Maintaining your skis is essential to ensure an optimal glide and grip. Frequency of maintenance may vary depending on how often you use your board, or on how damaged it is. We recommend that you wax it every 10 riding days, and at the end of the season. Edges need to be tuned up to 2 times per season if you want to keep a good edge control. However, don't get them overtuned because every tuning takes some of the steel off.

When your base is damaged and shows shallow scratches or rock gouge, it is possible to repair it.

You can get these repairs done by professional ski shop, or if the gouge is only superficial you may repair it yourself. To do so, you will need special tools and materials such as wax, Ptex for repairing bases, edge tuners, etc. You can find them on our website.
