The Bataleon Beyond Medals snowboard has been developed for snowboarders seeking better turning sensations and performance. It offers a very high level of performance with a very high-end construction that relies on lightness and power. You'll find an Ultra Light wood core, reinforced by fiberglass, as well carbon reinforcements for maximum pop and responsiveness. 

What is the programme of the Bataleon Beyond Medals snowboard? 

The Bataleon Beyond Medals is a rather technical snowboard, with a square tail and rounded nose. It offers maximum turning sensations, with a very responsive flex that allows to gather speed effortlessly. The carbon reinforcements provide lots of responsiveness, while keeping the weight down. The traditional camber offers even more precision and rebound between turns, while the rockers on the tips provide natural floatability on powder. As you understand, the Beyond Medals is a powder-oriented and/or carving board. A snowboard that likes going fast, slashing powder and carving.

Tips and advice

Size of your board?

The length of your board is extremely important. Several parameters have to be taken into account : Your height, your weight, your level and your program (allmountain-freeride-freestyle). We created a calculator that will tell you what size of board would suit you best, once you've completed these parameters. You can also call us (+33 4 73 26 98 47) to get a personal advice from our experienced team.
The snowboards you'll purchase on our website are all factory waxed and tuned. That means it's ready to hit the slopes. However, that doesn't work forever, and in order to keep your equipment at the top performance, you need to maintain base and edges on a regular basis.
Maintaining your skis is essential to ensure an optimal glide and grip. Frequency of maintenance may vary depending on how often you use your board, or on how damaged it is. We recommend that you wax it every 10 riding days, and at the end of the season. Edges need to be tuned up to 2 times per season if you want to keep a good edge control. However, don't get them overtuned because every tuning takes some of the steel off.

When your base is damaged and shows shallow scratches or rock gouge, it is possible to repair it.

You can get these repairs done by professional ski shop, or if the gouge is only superficial you may repair it yourself. To do so, you will need special tools and materials such as wax, Ptex for repairing bases, edge tuners, etc. You can find them on our website.
