Description

The Bataleon Blow is a twin-tip snowboard, perfectly symmetrical from nose to tail, with a soft flex. This is the typical construction of beginner freestyle snowboards, as it makes the board easy to handle and ideal for switch (when riding backwards) and freestyle tricks. The Blow also benefits from Jib 3BT and Sidekick technology, a fairly pronounced concave at the tip, which limits edge faults for greater riding comfort.

What is the programme of the Bataleon Blow snowboard?

The Bataleon Blow is an ideal model for progression in the resort, whether you want to become acquainted with snowboarding and learn the basics on the slopes, or have fun on the edges of the piste and practice placing tricks in the snowpark. Its wood shell is strong but flexible, which allows you to find the right support without strain and to play with the spatulas by placing presses and small tricks on the ground such as ollie and 180. The classic camber is not very pronounced, providing the necessary grip for the tracks without being too technically demanding. The same goes for the 3BT and the Sidekick, which make it easier for you to glide, execute cut turns and land on tricks.

Who is the Bataleon Blow snowboard for?

We recommend this model both to completely novice snowboarders who are looking for an easy and forgiving board to start on, and to slightly more advanced snowboarders looking to move towards freestyle.

What are the main qualities of the Bataleon Blow snowboard?

Tips and advice

The length of your board is extremely important. Several parameters have to be taken into account : Your height, your weight, your level and your program (allmountain-freeride-freestyle). We created a calculator that will tell you what size of board would suit you best, once you've completed these parameters. You can also call us (+33 4 73 26 98 47) to get a personal advice from our experienced team.
The snowboards you'll purchase on our website are all factory waxed and tuned. That means it's ready to hit the slopes. However, that doesn't work forever, and in order to keep your equipment at the top performance, you need to maintain base and edges on a regular basis.
Maintaining your skis is essential to ensure an optimal glide and grip. Frequency of maintenance may vary depending on how often you use your board, or on how damaged it is. We recommend that you wax it every 10 riding days, and at the end of the season. Edges need to be tuned up to 2 times per season if you want to keep a good edge control. However, don't get them overtuned because every tuning takes some of the steel off.

When your base is damaged and shows shallow scratches or rock gouge, it is possible to repair it.

You can get these repairs done by professional ski shop, or if the gouge is only superficial you may repair it yourself. To do so, you will need special tools and materials such as wax, Ptex for repairing bases, edge tuners, etc. You can find them on our website.
