The Bataleon Camel Two is a freeride-oriented board, with a directional shape that allows to ride on any snow type. It offers a good balance between performance and forgiveness, to link turns effortlessly, lap after lap.  

What is the programme of the Bataleon Camel Two snowboard? 

The Bataleon Camel Two features a directional shape, with a slightly setback foot stance that allows to initiate turns more easily and offers smoother edge transitions. The flex is responsive, without being too stiff, providing proper rebound out or turns. The traditional camber offers good grip on hardpack, and riding groomers poses no problem. Finally, the 3BT (Triple Base Technology) improves the lift on deep snow and makes the board a tad more forgiving on hardpack. As you understand, this board will let you fully enjoy groomed runs and the backcountry!

Tips and advice

Size of your board?

The length of your board is extremely important. Several parameters have to be taken into account : Your height, your weight, your level and your program (allmountain-freeride-freestyle). We created a calculator that will tell you what size of board would suit you best, once you've completed these parameters. You can also call us (+33 4 73 26 98 47) to get a personal advice from our experienced team.
The snowboards you'll purchase on our website are all factory waxed and tuned. That means it's ready to hit the slopes. However, that doesn't work forever, and in order to keep your equipment at the top performance, you need to maintain base and edges on a regular basis.
Maintaining your skis is essential to ensure an optimal glide and grip. Frequency of maintenance may vary depending on how often you use your board, or on how damaged it is. We recommend that you wax it every 10 riding days, and at the end of the season. Edges need to be tuned up to 2 times per season if you want to keep a good edge control. However, don't get them overtuned because every tuning takes some of the steel off.

When your base is damaged and shows shallow scratches or rock gouge, it is possible to repair it.

You can get these repairs done by professional ski shop, or if the gouge is only superficial you may repair it yourself. To do so, you will need special tools and materials such as wax, Ptex for repairing bases, edge tuners, etc. You can find them on our website.
