Product description — Chaser

Note: The colour of the bases may be different from the picture displayed on the website, manufacturers combine colours randomly.

The Bataleon Chaser is an all-mountain freestyle snowboard that perfectly blends ease of use with performance, making it ideal for having fun across the entire resort and progressing in freestyle without being limited to the terrain park. Thanks to its directional twin shape and traditional camber, it will follow you everywhere.

What is the Bataleon Chaser snowboard made for?

The Chaser benefits from a symmetrical shape that offers just as much ease riding switch as in your regular stance, while also enhancing control and float. Its medium flex maintains lively pop for ollies yet keeps the tips soft enough for jibbing and flat tricks. The traditional camber ensures solid edge hold on groomers for precise turns without making the board too demanding. In short, it's a smooth and versatile board that lets you make the most of your days on snow while progressing through playfulness!

Who is the Bataleon Chaser snowboard aimed at?

This board is perfect for intermediate to advanced riders seeking a freestyle-oriented deck offering an excellent balance between performance and forgiveness—allowing them to ride anywhere around the resort with a playful board.

Tips and advice

Size of your board?

The length of your board is extremely important. Several parameters have to be taken into account : Your height, your weight, your level and your program (allmountain-freeride-freestyle). We created a calculator that will tell you what size of board would suit you best, once you've completed these parameters. You can also call us (+33 4 73 26 98 47) to get a personal advice from our experienced team.
The snowboards you'll purchase on our website are all factory waxed and tuned. That means it's ready to hit the slopes. However, that doesn't work forever, and in order to keep your equipment at the top performance, you need to maintain base and edges on a regular basis.
Maintaining your skis is essential to ensure an optimal glide and grip. Frequency of maintenance may vary depending on how often you use your board, or on how damaged it is. We recommend that you wax it every 10 riding days, and at the end of the season. Edges need to be tuned up to 2 times per season if you want to keep a good edge control. However, don't get them overtuned because every tuning takes some of the steel off.

When your base is damaged and shows shallow scratches or rock gouge, it is possible to repair it.

You can get these repairs done by professional ski shop, or if the gouge is only superficial you may repair it yourself. To do so, you will need special tools and materials such as wax, Ptex for repairing bases, edge tuners, etc. You can find them on our website.
