Description

Note: The colour of the bases may be different from the picture displayed on the website, manufacturers combine colours randomly.

The Bataleon Evil Twin is the twin-tip park board in the Bataleon lineup: a board designed for riders who spend their time between kickers and rails, but who still enjoy carving a few runs between sessions. Flexible and responsive, it lives up to its name by embodying a true twin philosophy from nose to tail.

What’s the deal with the Bataleon Evil Twin snowboard?

The Bataleon Evil Twin is built for the park: kickers, rails, and boxes are its playground. The 3D twin-tip shape means the board is perfectly symmetrical on both sides, giving you exactly the same feel riding switch as riding regular. The classic camber builds up energy when you catch an edge, releases it as you exit the turn, and provides good pop for more aerial tricks. Flexible and forgiving on landing, it handles rough landings without sacrificing precision when you’re going for it.

Who is the Bataleon Evil Twin snowboard designed for?

The Bataleon Evil Twin is designed for intermediate to advanced riders who want to make serious progress in the park while still having a board that’s accessible enough not to be discouraging.

  • Intermediate riders who are starting to string together features and are looking for a playful board to build confidence on kickers
  • Advanced snowboarders who prioritize freestyle and want a responsive twin-tip that’s just as comfortable riding switch as it is riding regular
  • Female riders who split their time between the park and the resort’s slopes

A top choice if you’re looking for a versatile, park-oriented board that’s flexible and playful, performing equally well on features and the rest of the resort.

Avoid this if powder and big freeride turns are at the heart of your riding: that’s not what this board is designed for.

Frequently Asked Questions About the Bataleon Evil Twin Snowboard

Is the Bataleon Evil Twin really comfortable when riding switch?

Yes: the 3D twin shape is perfectly symmetrical from nose to tail, which gives you identical conditions in both riding directions. No compromises, no preferred direction.

What do the Carbon Stringers bring to this board?

Carbon Stringers are carbon reinforcements integrated into the board’s core: very lightweight, they increase responsiveness and pop without adding weight to the board. In practice, you’ll feel the board respond more directly to your input when taking off from a kicker.

Is the Hyper Glide S base effective for intensive park riding?

Bataleon’s sintered Hyper Glide S base is highly impact-resistant and glides efficiently when waxed regularly.

Tips and advice

The length of your board is extremely important. Several parameters have to be taken into account : Your height, your weight, your level and your program (allmountain-freeride-freestyle). We created a calculator that will tell you what size of board would suit you best, once you've completed these parameters. You can also call us (+33 4 73 26 98 47) to get a personal advice from our experienced team.
The snowboards you'll purchase on our website are all factory waxed and tuned. That means it's ready to hit the slopes. However, that doesn't work forever, and in order to keep your equipment at the top performance, you need to maintain base and edges on a regular basis.
Maintaining your skis is essential to ensure an optimal glide and grip. Frequency of maintenance may vary depending on how often you use your board, or on how damaged it is. We recommend that you wax it every 10 riding days, and at the end of the season. Edges need to be tuned up to 2 times per season if you want to keep a good edge control. However, don't get them overtuned because every tuning takes some of the steel off.

When your base is damaged and shows shallow scratches or rock gouge, it is possible to repair it.

You can get these repairs done by professional ski shop, or if the gouge is only superficial you may repair it yourself. To do so, you will need special tools and materials such as wax, Ptex for repairing bases, edge tuners, etc. You can find them on our website.
